IA Path

IA Path serves the needs of Independent Insurance Adjusters with education, training, and ongoing resources. Owner and operator Chris Stanley came to us with a fairly complex automation and integration project. He needed a way to eliminate a highly manual process which included manually completing an industry specific form with data from another system. He had tried to complete this integration multiple times but kept coming up short or running into additional roadblocks when he thought he was close to being done. To make matters worse this was a multi-page form that was utilized to survey the damage and estimated repairs needed when vehicles were involved in an accident. To complete this process manually took as much as 20-30 minutes for each submission.

We follow the same process every time where we complete a thorough discovery process, learn about the business and the operations and then provide a suggested solution. There is no such thing as a one-size fits all solution when it comes to software and software integrations. For IA Path we needed to leverage a technique called parsing - for simplicity sake we had to implement a way for a software application to ‘read’ the information on a PDF and then take that information and input it into another document. Again, these are industry specific documents so we had some constraints. Our final solution ended up working flawlessly after just a few weeks of implementation and testing to refine each unique element of the process. IA Path is now able to provide their customers with a highly valuable solution saving them sometimes multiple hours per day per person.
